Onsite Overnight Support

Ability SDA will appoint an approved Disability Support Provider to coordinate the overnight care for each of their locations. The Support teams will be onsite 24/7, in a dedicated apartment to deliver assistance to tenants whenever needed.

The staff can be contactable via your choice of device, personal fob pendant, wall buttons or voice automation.

Perhaps you require scheduled support, such as waking to take medication, to be turned or repositioned, help with pain relief or using the toilet. You will work with the Disability Support Provider’s team of professionals to develop a plan for your support.

Their skilled teams can provide a range of activities including:

  • Getting in or out of bed
  • Personal Care
  • Turning and repositioning
  • Medication and pain relief
  • Hydration and nourishment
  • Temperature regulation
  • Reassurance and Emotional support
  • Supervision and safety
