Onsite Overnight Disability Support

Ability SDA will initially appoint an approved Disability Support Provider to coordinate the overnight care in each of their locations. These support teams will be onsite 24/7, in a dedicated apartment, to deliver assistance to tenants as needed.

The staff can be contacted via your choice of device, personal fob pendant, wall buttons or voice automation.

Perhaps you require scheduled support, such as waking to take medication, to be turned or repositioned, help with pain relief or using the toilet. You will be able to work with the Disability Support Provider’s professional team to develop a plan for your support in accordance with your NDIS funding package.

Their skilled teams can provide a range of activities including:

  • Getting in or out of bed
  • Personal Care
  • Turning and repositioning
  • Medication and pain relief
  • Hydration and nourishment
  • Temperature regulation
  • Reassurance and Emotional support
  • Supervision and safety
